A century of innovation
Over the past 100 years, ISEKI has grown from a small local Japanese company into a globally renowned brand for tools and machines for green and landscape maintenance.
The brand
The brand was founded in Japan in 1926 as ‘ISEKI Farm Implement Trading Co.’ and initially produced rice husking and rice sorting machines. In the course of a licence agreement with Porsche Diesel, the company finally began manufacturing tractors that meet the special requirements for use in rice fields - the tractors previously imported to Japan had proved to be too large and also too heavy.
ISEKI now exports its wide range of products, which includes small tractors, mowers and attachments, to Germany and many other European countries. ISEKI-Maschinen GmbH is the location of the European headquarters.
